Teatr Brama was founded in 1996 in Goleniów by Daniel Jacewicz. The name of the theatre comes from its first headquarters in the Brama Wolińska (old city gate – “Wolin Gate”).
Brama is an independent multinational theatre, known in Poland as well internationally. In Goleniow, where the theatre is headquartered, Brama managed to create an active cultural environment which can be experienced during performances, workshops, projects and likewise during the annual theatre festivals – BRAMAT and ŁAKNIENIA. Brama’s motivation for their artistic and socially engaged cultural activities is to revolutionize the relationship between an artist and audience. This means performance is treated as a meeting which creates the possibility for participation and dialogue. As Socio-Cultural Education Association, Teatr Brama uses formal and informal education methods, to empower people to use art and creativity to improve their quality of life and their world through a wide range of cultural activities.
BECAUSE U. ART
The mission of Because U. Art is to promote all forms of artistic and cultural expression, amateur and professional, particularly in the field of audiovisual and communication.
It wishes to raise awareness among as many people as possible and implement a participatory approach to creative and artistic practices (video, photography, writing, etc.) around citizen issues in a principle of solidarity and social utility.
Amaro Drom
Amaro Drom e.V. (“Our way”) is an intercultural youth self-organization of Roma and non-Roma, which aims to open up spaces for political and social participation for young people through empowerment, mobilization and self-organization.
Amaro Drom sees itself as a grassroots democratic structure that offers young people opportunities to network, to learn and experience together and in which they take responsibility for themselves and others.
As a federal association, Amaro Drom has an extensive network for exchange and mutual support of the state associations as well as for cooperation with other youth associations, especially with the djo – German Youth in Europe and the MJSO federal groups (migrant youth self-organisations) organized in it.
Youth Cultural Center – Bitola
Youth Cultural Center – Bitola (YCC – Bitola) is an independent, non-governmental, non-partisan and non-profit youth organization with the mission to unite and develop the creative potentials of young people and encourage civic activism.
YCC-Bitola is one of the leading youth organizations in Macedonia in the field of volunteering, non-formal education of youth, youth work and promotion of the urban culture. YCC – Bitola is national office of non-formal CSO network – Volunteer Center of Macedonia and coordinates the exchange of volunteers on local, regional and international level, educates volunteers, gives consultation services to other subjects and collaborates with different local and international organizations that promote same values.
YCC – Bitola is actively involved in working groups for creation of national and local strategies (Strategy for development of volunteering, Strategy for collaboration with civil society organizations of Municipality of Bitola, Local volunteering strategies for municipalities of Bitola, Tetovo, Kavadarci and initiative for creation of a National Youth Council). In partnership with Creactive – Skopje, SEEYN and NAPOR we are coordinating the national initiative to enhance institutional mechanism for cooperation of youth CSO’s with governmental departments as equal partners in tailoring youth policies and decision making regarding youth work in Macedonia.
